Our small group sessions combine expert coaching with the energy of training alongside other driven athletes.
Athletes push each other, build confidence, and develop real game-speed performance — while still receiving personalized coaching and corrections every session.

Small groups (2–6 athletes) allow us to coach with intention, adjust programming, and deliver results that carry directly onto the court.

Our Story

AME Hoops Performance was built with one clear mission: to help young athletes become confident, high-performing individuals — on and off the court.
Founded by Rick Alvarez — a performance coach and parent — AME was created after seeing firsthand what many athletes were missing: structure, guidance, and training that truly connects the court to the weight room.
With years of experience in strength and performance training, we focus on developing the complete athlete. True performance isn’t just speed or strength — it’s the combination of physical ability, discipline, and mindset.
